Control Set, Volume and Tone, Split Shaft, Long Shaft.
These controls are used for carved top guitars that require a longer thread to pass through the body of the guitar.
The controls included with EMG Systems are 25K Ohm, Audio Taper. This value of Pot is required for the system to work correctly. A 250K or 500K volume or tone pot will not work properly. The capacitor is .1 micro farad, this value gives the correct amount of high-end roll off. One way to change the high-end roll off point, add a second .1 micro farad in parallel.
