With a signature unfinished bell and considerably heavier weight, these cymbals mean busines ! A perfect complement to the Bliss and Contact series, the Energy series has all that and more. More volume, higher pitch, longer decays and still a truly hand-hammered masterpiece. Due to the extra weight concentrated in the centre, the 20" ENERGY ride has a thick bell with loud cutting capabilities that are strong without jarring qualities-especially when played with the shaft of the stick. When played closer to the cymbal's edge the tip of the stick produces a pleasant, shimmering and authoritative ping with good sustain that is not covered by other frequencies generated by the cymbal-even when played hard for long periods of time. • Surface: micro-lathed, minimal passes • Bow: medium depth, gradual bridge • Bell: loud broad bell, half-lathed • Weight: medium to heavy • Hammering: hand-hammered from birth, hot and cold • Stick sound: very clear and precise articulate bell, cutting projection • Wash: powerful crashes, broad dynamic range, very full pitch spectrum with long decay
