Control Set, Volume(push/pull) and Tone, Split Shaft.
These controls are used for the EMG-89 or any of EMG's twin pickups that will allow you to coil tap. This includes the EMG-35TW, EMG-40TW, EMG-45TW and the EMG-MMTW . The controls included with EMG Systems are 25K Ohm, Audio Taper. This value of Pot is required for the system to work correctly. A 250K or 500K volume or tone pot will not work properly. The capacitor is .1 micro farad, this value gives the correct amount of high-end roll off. One way to change the high-end roll off point, add a second .1 micro farad in parallel.
